    To be honest, I am surprised that it was legal, even in Louisiana. Glad to hear that finally it hopefully won't be!

      Yep ... it HAS changed because Congress recently passed a FEDERAL law that outlaws animal fighing, including cockfighting. Bush even signed it into law.

      Now those creeps in Louisiana and all across the country that participate in that disgusting, cruel, hateful 'sport' (NOT!) can be prosecuted and thrown in jail.
