Joke's on the cat! He probably got stuck with one of those 28% apr "starter" cards. Should've applied for an unsecured loan instead. Sucker.

The Bank " Although the bank will not be taking legal action against Ms Campbell, the spokeswoman said the person signing the application form should not give misleading or fraudulent information. " thats their security

I wonder if the banks are actually going to tighten up security to remedy this kind of thing.
If not...My mother has 3 dogs and 2 cats, all of which I'm sure have excellent credit ratings.

We don't have SS# in Australia, and what she did was apply for a secondary card of her MAIN card, and for that you don't need much in the way of ID or proof.
I should get my cats one each.
